Wax Carving Intensive - 5 Days

Over the five days you will learn the following techniques:

• Working with different types of waxes 
• Making rings, pendants and charms of your own design in wax 
• Setting stones in wax including small and larger faceted stones, bezel stones and cast-in-place as well as set after casting, stone settings. 
• Using different tools to work with wax such as the heat pen, scalpels, wax carving tools and classic jewellers files and saws 
• Sand casting and how to cast a wax piece of your design using the sand casting method 
• How to clean up your wax pieces after casting them…
